Description	Unit has had very little use and is in excellent condition. The Tandematic maintains the proper amount of fabric in reserve to permit continuous operation while supply rolls of fabric are being sewn in. No tumbling or tangling of fabric. Tension free withdrawal of fabric. Store knits or wovens wet or dry. The Tandematic fabric storage and guiding system is ideal for wrinkle removal and controlling the side-to-side position of substrates while they are being fed into a continuous operation. The storage system accumulates sufficient material to allow time for new rolls of substrate to be spliced together to allow continuous operation. - MDL CST- 96- SRC/SRTC Storage System Model FST-96. - Decurlers model MH53US/AIZ 11 (Removes "up" or "down" curl). - Dancer roll FTD. - NOTE: PHOTOS SHOW MENZEL WINDER WITH TANDEMATIC. THE MENZEL IS NOT INCLUDED NOR IS RAILWAY SEWING MACHINE. - The specification called for the accumulator section to be able to store at least 180 - 240 yards of material, up to 84" wide (based on 3 - 4 minutes to do a splice, and process speed of 60 yards per minute). The fabrics in question were our polyester circular knit fabrics, which weighed about 1.8 opsy to 2.5 ospy. - The overall height of the equipment is about 127" inches. Accumulator appears to be about 68" high, and 9' deep. This would be the limiting factor for how much fabric could be stored. There?s a set of pull rollers that feed fabric onto a tray, which then periodically dumps into the storage system. A dancer roller ahead of the pull roller was used to control unwind tension. At the bottom of the storage system, a trap door periodically opens to allow some fabric to slide into the tray at the bottom, where the fabric was pulled upwards into the guiding mechanism.
