Automatic lubricating & cooling system complete with recirculation. Automatic double-sided blade polishing unit with two 0.20 Kw motors & two- diamond wheel sharpening stones. The slitting carriage is positioned on precision-ground linear bearings, providing low friction travel and optimum accuracy. Operation of the slitting head is on the horizontal plane. Proportional blade penetration speeds via AC Brushless motors with; fast approaching to the external diameter of the log, proportional speed for the material and adjustable for the core. Adjustable dwell period for the holding of the blade against the shaft to perform clean core cutting. Transversal displacement is performed by a brushless motor that guarantees precision (+/- 0.1mm) and rapid positioning. Automatic adjustable blade ?axis? angle (+/- 5°). One 3" rotating shaft complete with rubber sleeves, automatic internal material gripping, manual exterior material gripping. Manual shaft support. PLC Omron with 5?? color touchscreen display. Can store up to 50 recipes. Cut rolled foam, adhesive tapes and rolled rubber. It is designed to also cut textiles, felts.
