Description 10" gauge, 6.5" x 43/64" rings, 11" traverse, central lubrication system. - SPINDLES - 3/4" diameter spindles with HZ-68 SKF bolsters. Each spindle with its own AC motor with HTD timing belt drive. Machine is equipped with Allen Bradley 1335 Plus II inverter drive to control spindle drive. - Pneumatic brakes. - DELIVERY ROLLS - 2" diameter heat-treated chrome plated roll (single line) controlled by Allen Bradley servo motors. Weighted top rolls with pneumatic lift mechanism; traversing chrome thread guides. - CONTROLS - PLC program with Allen Bradley panel view 550 operator interface. All machine functions are electronically controlled (no gears). - CREELS - One machine has 4 rows of zinc-plated pin creels and the other has 5 rows. The pitch of the pins can be varied. - BOBBINS - 900 OCF #8540 bobbins per machine. - These machines are reported to be similar to an early version of Twistec equipment. The machines were only used 5-6 years and have been stopped since 2007. Last used running glass but should be suitable for other types of industrial twisting.
