| Description | (1) Used reconditioned 6" Sterling extruder, 30:1 L/D ratio, electrically heated and air cooled, vented with vent stack and liquid ring vac pump, 2-stage screw, used on PE, 400 HP DC motor and panel mounted SCR drive controller, standard 42" CLH, 12-zone solid state temp control panel digital controllers, individual ampmeters each zone, 10-turn speed pot, digital screw RPM, motor amp, and melt temp indicators. Rebuilt in 2008 with new screw, barrel, cooling and heating systems, panel, motor, drive, and feed hopper.
(1) Used 8" MGB screen changer, hydraulic slide plate type, 2-position, with hydraulic power pack and controls, new in 2008.
(1) Used Beringer water ring pelletizer model WRP-12, complete with cutter, water recirculation system with heat exchanger and reservoir tank, and centrifugal dryer, with controls.
This extruder is currently running product and can be seen under power. The plant is going to replace it with an 8" extruder and will keep the Beringer unit currently with it. We would bring in another Beringer from our warehouse and have it checked and tested, cleaned and painted, and connected to the 6" extruder. |
