| Description | Pneumatic Rotary Press, 1986 year refurbished in 2009, 86" wide rolls, variable speed drive 0-200 FPM. The top roller opens from 0-4 1/2" and the passline height is 36". The rolls are Teflon coated so it can make a sealed face on polyester/polypropylene. Portable roll up and also a conveyor for rolled goods. The machine is set up and in working condition as of now, so test runs can be made. The heating pipes have been reinsulated, the pressure rollers have be re-coated with Teflon coating. The equipment has had very little use in the past 2 years.
It's used to laminate heat-sensitive adhesive films or thermally softened substrates together. Owner used it to laminate Mylar to insulation, but it can have many other uses. Materials could (but not limited to) include: rigid/flexible foam, rigid/flexible insulation, Mylar, etc. Industry uses are: Carpeting and carpet padding, Building (office partitions, foil-faced insulation), Automotive (paneling, sound deadening), Appliances (sound deadening). |
