Description	capacity 6850 pph each. Each machine includes: 48 spin packs that are fed from six electrically heated carbon steel blocks which contain eight pump/packs. (~144 packs/SM can be provided). NO spinnerets are included. Therminol in the blocks are heated by 230 volt calrod heaters submerged in liquid. The six blocks are fed from three therminol jacketed polymer manifolds. 48 Quench cabinets ~ 18" wide. The 48 quench cambers are aligned back to back with 24 chambers on each side of the machine, with up to 57750 cfm/SM of conditioned air being supplied to solidify the polymer. The threadlines from each pack are collected and guided through a metered finish applications system and then guided around an individual feed wheel to stabilize the tension and to change its direction of travel. (The metered finish application system is NOT provided, however the finish feed tank and supply/return piping in the machine will be provided). The threadlines on each side of the machine are gathered in a tow and further combined with the tow from the other side of the SM and then guided to a piddler. Each SM fed one piddler with a common spare piddler, so 3 piddlers are available. The piddler continuously removes under controlled tension the tow from the SM and deposits the tow in a uniform coiled layer into a piddle can which holds ~ 1700 pounds of nylon tow. Piddle cans are available if needed. The SM frame is epoxy painted carbon steel; the manifold and blocks are carbon steel; the quench chambers are aluminum and stainless steel; the air ducts are aluminum; the pack assemblies are of type CR-1 stainless maraging steel; the feed wheels are chrome plated steel; the finish feed tank and associated piping are stainless steel; and the piddlers have chrome plated steel godet rolls, and steel frame-plated with carbide LA-7 and epoxy sealed sunflower gears.
