The application rate is entirely dependent on the choice of screen that is installed on the machine. Stork's screen selection guide lists a variety of screens that have application rates that vary from 8 to 180 cubic centimeters per square meter (0.046 to 1.0 cubic inches per square foot). Other application rates are available and it would be best to contact Stork directly.
- The machine can coat a maximum of 2200 mm width (about 86") and can run from 2.5 to 50 meters/minute (8.2 to 164 feet/minute).
- The coater can process many different liquid or paste coating materials such as plastisol, water-based coatings, latex, or inks. It is well suited for use as a paste applicator or for applying adhesive coatings in a laminator. These materials would need to be applied at room temperature - the unit is not equipped to handle hot-melt adhesive. The only concern is that some of the rubber or plastic components of the system (seals, hoses, etc.) may not be suitable for use with certain solvents or chemicals. It would be best to discuss this with Stork - they could identify any components that may be of concern.
- The equipment has some accessories in the paste preparation equipment, but not any tools. The machine has operating manuals, etc. |
