Description	Type DR-2051, TSM/D6, 41mm counter-rotating screws 5 hp DC drive, 230v, 2500 rpm, 1/60. FE-2000-A heater control unit 6 heater zones. PL-2000 interfacing control unit. Machine is NEW and was never installed after project canceled. It is a shorter extruder head, but it is twin screw and has an interrupted flight mixing zone along the length of the screws. The design / application was for medical catheters and tubing. There is a die and cone (to create the inner diameter in the tubing) with the cone being removable. The extruder base can be used with other extruder heads. The white material on the cone component of the die is an extruder / preservation purging polymer called Dynapurge which was used when the extruder was put into storage. There are two additional mixing/kneading screws that come with the extruder. The extruder die is fairly straightforward and exchangeable. I think it could be used to coat wires. The wire could be feed through a mechanism similar to the cone shown in one of the photos. The feed rate is adjustable.
