Description	The machine makes a rectangular pillow sham. Three rolls of fabric enter the machine: The bottom fabric is the full width of the face of the sham from top to bottom, usually 20 inches (finished). The two top fabrics are narrow, usually 12" wide and placed on top of the wider fabric with about a 1" to 2" overlap in the center. This creates the opening in which the pillow is inserted. The two sides are sewn continuously (outside edges). The cut size is measured as the sewn pieces are conveyed continuously. When the desired size (26", 30", 36", etc ) is sensed, the sewing stops, the piece is cut, and it is transferred at a right angle to another conveyor which takes it thru two more sewing heads (left and right) to sew the sides of the sham. The completely sewn sham is then stacked. The finished sham is now wrong-side-out, so it must be turned and this is usually done manually or semi-automatically, depending upon the equipment available. Production rate is about 10 to 12 pieces/minute with one operator.
