| Description | Vario Air TW22 electrically heated oven, 2 heating zones of each 2 meters, cooling zone of 2 meters, calibration unit for compaction and calibration of products as required, mechanical speed 1-25 m/min steplessly adjustable, electrical heating with heat exchanger, cooling by ambient or outside air with a max temp of 35 deg. C.
For the production of high loft nonwovens such as furniture and upholstery padding, quilts, filter-media as well as wool insulation panels. Completely refurbished in 2007, running mainly polyester and bico, polyester/bico mixed with silicone, but could of course run polyprop and other materials like shoddy or wool. Production capacity up to 350 kgs/hr depending on product composition, for example 100 gsm at 150 kgs/hr, 300 gsm at 200 kgs/hr. Can produce from 80 gsm - 1500 gsm with a maximum height of 100 mm. Nomnal throughput 80,000 kgs/month. Electrical consumption reported about 450 kW/hr.
